EXCELLENTvérifié We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pascal’s place! It is charming, well- appointed, very clean, and in a great location - it’s an easy and pleasant short walk to the town center. It was easy to communicate back and forth with Pascal- and even booking last minute was a breeze. He even left a sweet little gift for us. Nous y avons passé une semaine à deux et il y avait tout le nécessaire sur place pour être confortable. L'endroit est calme et le centre-ville est facilement accessible par le sentier longeant la rivière. On s'est senti bien accueilli par l'hôte qui avait de bonnes recommandations. Easy walking access into Bayeux, we were fortunate that there was an annual medieval festival on over the weekend, which added to the enjoyment.vérifié Delightful 1st floor (above garage) studio apartment. Well appointed in a very lovely setting. Thanks Pascal for allowing us to stay in your comfortable space. We enjoyed our time here. Great base for all sightseeing in the area. 15-20 minute walk to most things in bayeux , including the bayeux tapestry depicting the battle of Hastings in 1066, and 30-40 minute drive to Utah beach and other Normandie WWII sites and beaches. Recommend 💯 and would return again if in the area.vérifié We had a great stay. Pascal is very welcoming and thoughtful (he even left some local pastries hanging at our door one evening). The studio is also very nice and extremely well equipped. Especially the kitchen. The bed was a bit smaller than we expected (our mistake as it was visible on the pictures), but very good nonetheless. It is really close to Bayeux’s city center, and the walk there along the river is quite nice. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to stay for a Normandy trip.vérifié Pascal's gîte is beautiful and well cared for. It is well located to the centre of Bayeaux with 10min walk via a picturesque river path to the centre. Bayeaux itself had an overwhelming choice of restaurants and bars and many things to do. The apartment is close to several large local supermarkets. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our 3 night stay. Pascal provided clear instructions for accessing the property and suggestions of things to do in the local area.
